I love to cook, so I agonized over the kitchen design. A gas range was a "must." The deep full-extension drawers, corner cabinet pull-outs, stainless steel shelves and 39" upper cabinets hold far more than you'd imagine a small kitchen could. The sink is extra deep and has a matte chrome faucet. We've accessorized with more space-savers: spice rack, paper towel holder, utensil holder plus a pine wall-hung folding table. The nifty halogen wire lighting system is on a dimmer. I love the contrast of the butcher block counters and rustic saltillo tile floors with all the white, steel, glass and aluminum. Dimensions: 6'10' by 10'9". There were a few doors hadn't been installed when these photos were taken very near the end of construction...
