3814 N. Borthwick (The Fred)

We love the Craftsman era details in this building. The period millwork is a highlight: wide baseboards with Craftsman base cap, crown moulding over the windows and doors, and functional picture-hanger moulding throughout. Between the living room and front room are functional pocket doors.

The windows all operate with sash cords and counterweights and we installed custom cellular blinds. The sleek matte steel ceiling fans each have a remote control for fan speed and dimmer functions. The floors are the original fir, refinished.

Living room dimensions: 13'10" by 11'6". Ceiling height (throughout) is 9'.
