| 3812 at the Fred is the only apartment in the building
we've not yet remodeled. On the one hand it is a great apartment, has
an immense amount of living space (and an amazing amount of
storage)
and
some
truly charming period features. On the other hand, it is also rather
a quirky hodge-podge design choices. From the glass block front hall
partion (yes, in a 1911 Craftsman
building), to the metallic bronze living
room ceiling,
to the green mosaic tiled counters and mirrored cabinet doors in the
kitchen. It
is anything
but boring...
you'll either
love
it or you'll hate it. The rent reflects the eccentricies of the space
and so for the space it is truly a bargain. |
